Fall 2011 Goalie Clinics

Once again this season, Ottawa and Nepean will jointly host a series of goalie clinics. This is a great way for goalies of all levels and ages to get an hour of varying shots and to practice game situations. Coaches, please encourage all of your goalies to take part in these sessions unless they have a game. The remaining sessions are as listed below:

  • 7:00 PM - Novice, Petite, Tween B,C
  • 8:00 PM - Junior, Belle, Tween A/AA, PP1
• Tuesday 31-Jan-2012, Nepean Sportsplex 1
  • 7:00 PM - Novice, Petite, Tween B,C
  • 8:00 PM - Junior, Belle, Tween A/AA, PP1
• Tuesday 14-Feb-2012, Nepean Sportsplex 1
  • 7:00 PM - Novice, Petite, Tween B,C
  • 8:00 PM - Junior, Belle, Tween A/AA, PP1

There will be a set range of shooters from A and AA teams. This will allow for focused attention for the younger goalies and a higher degree of difficulty for the competitive goalies. We also encourage one member of the bench staff to attend to get an idea of some of the drills your team might want to use during practices. The clinics are open to goalies from all associations. There is no cost for Nepean and Ottawa goalies to attend - all others are $15/hr. All Nepean and Ottawa goalies are asked to attend.
