22nd Annual Nepean Ringette Tournament

The Nepean Ringette Association would like to extend a warm welcome to all participants in our annual tournament. We wish you the best of luck and hope you have a pleasant weekend.

NRL BREAST CANCER AWARENESS GAME!

November 29th, 2009, 1:00pm - 2:30pm

5$ Admission. All proceeds support the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation.

Goalie Clinics

Nepean and Ottawa Ringette are hosting Goalie Development Clinics this season. The clinics are open to goalies from all associations. There is no cost for Nepean and Ottawa goalies to attend - all others are $10/hr. The remaining sessions are:

• Tuesday 24-Nov-2009, Sportsplex 1
  • 7:00 PM - Novice, Petite (except AA), Tween B,C
  • 8:00 PM - All Junior, Belle, Tween A/AA & Petite AA
• Winter sessions will be announced at a later date.

2010 AA Provincials Logo Contest

Nepean Ringette is looking for a Logo for the 2010 AA Provincials and is holding a contest, open to all Nepean players wishing to submit a logo design. Prize is a hoodie with the logo on it. Submissions are due by 25-Nov-2009. Click Here for more information.

NCRRL Winter Season Update

Please note that due to shortages of ice at some associations, the NCRRL Executive has approved the resumption of league games following the year-end break on Saturday 02-Jan-2010, rather than the previously announced date of Sun 03-Jan-2009.

Bunnies / Learn to Skate: No Session 04-Dec-2009

The Bunny / Learn to Skate program will not be held on Friday 04-Dec-2009 as the ice is being used for the Ottawa Ringette Tournament.

ORA Notices - Flu and Concussions

The ORA has posted messages on containing the flu virus, and on the dangers of concussions. To minimize the spread of flu and other illnesses, please consider:

• Using separate water bottles for each player
• Glove taps instead of handshakes
• Bench staff carry hand sanitizers and wipes
